I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Masimo (Irvine, CA) in Apr 2016
Interview
After submitting an online application, I was contacted by HR to schedule a 20-30 minute phone interview. After a week I followed up with HR on the status of my application. I continued on with a phone interview with the hiring manager. I followed up with HR after a week of the phone interview with hiring manager. I'm guessing after passing the interview with HR you then go move onto a face-to-face interview; however, I wouldn't know for sure since I wasn't selected to go on past the phone screenings.
My experiences with Masimo are more negative than positive. I've been on many interviews in my career and this is probably the worst HR recruiter I have ever interacted with. This person seemed to struggle to find answers about what made Masimo a "great" company to work for and the response(s) that I received were not very convincing. The interactions I've had with this particular HR recruiter were awkward and made me have doubts wanting to working for Masimo...what a turn off.
The hiring manager seemed pleasant, but also younger and inexperienced. The flow of conversation between myself and the hiring manager was a little off in my opinion because it seemed like the hiring manager was reading off a list of questions (which isn't bad, but can be distracting) rather than having a naturally flowing conversation. I felt the hiring manager was jumping from a one question to another that didn't seem to connect smoothly.
