First off...this was a very LONG process. Initially I applied one night and got a call from a recruiter the next day to set up an initial phone screening, which took place the next week. I took the phone screening where she told me about the job, pay, and briefly went over my resume...she then passed me on to do a more in depth phone interview to have with a Regional Sales Manager, who would not be my manager. I talked with him for over and hour, the first half just a conversation about his background, what he liked about where he lived, etc. The next half was just standard interview questions. He told me he was going to refer me on to the next interview but that my manager would be on vacation so the interview would be in a couple weeks. I didn't hear anything for a couple weeks so I emailed the recruiter and she immediately scheduled me for the next interview, which was in person. The manager called me day before and told me not to dress up business professional because we were going to meet in a store, so I dressed up business casual and we just walked around the store for an hour or so and just had a very informal conversation. He then said he was going to refer me on to the national manager, which would be a phone interview. This was 2 days later (a month into the whole process). After that I didn't hear anything for 3 weeks, and then I got a call from my future manager to say he didn't forget about me, but they were working on my offer letter and that he'd be in contact. A week later (2 months into the whole process) I had my offer letter, and I started 2 weeks later, after 2 and a half months.
