I had initially gone into another massage envy a few months before and applied and they said they'd call and set up and interview, but never did. Then I went back now and I filled out an application while I was in the spa and they did an interview on the spot. They called me in for another interview within 3 days and when I went in for that interview she told me I was hired.

The "take this pen and sell it to me" question. They ask you to take a pen and you can pretend it is anything, but you have to convince them to buy it. She told me I did well seeing as most of the applicants freeze up whenever she asks them to do that.

Phone interview 1st. That went really well, so scheduled an in person interview. That went really well also and I got a job offer. Up to that point, communication was great. I was just waiting until the background check was completed, then they would give me my start date. After a few days from when I accepted the position and filled out my hiring paperwork online and still no word, I text the manager asking for an update. She did get back to me and said she'd been sick and said she would keep me updated and suggested some more online training stuff (that I could do while waiting or wait until I started). After that... nothing. They ghosted me. I waited a couple weeks- wanting to reach out but not wanting to bug them. Finally, I sent a text asking when my start date would be and she replied they didn't hear from me, so went another way. What??? So completely rude and unprofessional and just plain weird.

'Describe a time when you dealt with an unhappy customer and how you handled it'
Applied online and followed up with a manager and was hired same day. It was a short interview with the business manager to gauge sales experience and if you fit with the culture of the company!

In person interview with general and assistant manager . They were very friendly and made me feel comfortable about being myself and learning about me and what made me decide to apply .
