I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Mastercard (Sat home) in Jul 2022
Interview
One of the worst interview processes ever.
I got a call from the recruiter for a job opening in the mastercard. After initial discussions, the interview was scheduled with the technical panel.
The interview was pretty smooth. The interviewer was professional and friendly. The tone of the interview was also comfortable. I had presented my portfolio and he was convinced with my prior work. He asked me some questions and I answered most of the questions. The interview went for close to one hour.
Before concluding the interview he asked me to share my works on email and told me that he is going to share the work with his superiors. Also, he told me to be ready for the next round which was going to be scheduled in the next week.
What followed was the worst experience. I did not hear from Mastercard for the last two months.
If they were not going to consider me for another round, they should not have talked about the same. Giving false hope to the interviewees and then ghosting them is the worst thing.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Mastercard (London, England) in Jan 2024
Interview
I really liked the process! First, an interview with HR which is super basic. Then an interview with the hiring manager. An interview with the team including a presentation. Then, offer stage.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Mastercard (Ann Arbor, MI) in Sep 2019
Interview
Still in the process, however the first interview was in-person and involved 2 parts. One part was behavioral, and the other was design-based! Was contacted 5 days after applying online, and still waiting to hear back from how the first interview went!
