it was formal. they wanted me to come in for a sample lesson after submitting a lesson online to them for approval. They stressed that they had very high standards.

I don't recall the questions - but the sample lesson was awful. The sub who was in the room did not introduce me. The "technology" had apparently never been used (the projector). No one even knew ho to plug it in. I brought my own supplies which was good because there were none. The kids showed up late to my lesson - with an angry teacher. The students behaved horribly while the principal and VP sat in the back. It was awkward because the kids had never met me -- and I felt unsure of how much I could really "discipline" them. And I had to question why no one told them who I was or why I was there. I had to question how they could be so awful in front of administration. That said a lot.
