I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Materialise in Jan 2022
Interview
Two interviews. First was 15-30 minute informal interview online with basic icebreaker questions. Second interview was also online with the hiring manager. After second interview, the hiring manager said I would hear a response in about 2 weeks whether or not I got the job. 5 weeks go by: No call. On the fifth week, they call me back saying that there is another similar position available if I was interested in interviewing for. I asked them about the job I first interviewed for and they said that the job was filled and someone should’ve responded. They sincerely apologized and said that communication is important at Materialise and that hopefully this incident doesn’t reflect their reputation on that belief. They asked if I was still interested in the interview to which I responded “Yes”. They apologized again and said that I get a call within the next week to schedule the interview. That was almost three weeks ago and yet again: no response. I called twice and left a voicemail and they never returned my calls. For a company that strives in communication, they seem to have a serious lack of it in their company.
