- Why process engineer?
Really weird experience. 1) applied online 2) HR reached out to phone screen 3) spoke with the plant manager 4) flew out for an interview, 3 hours long with 4 groups of people My red flag was when the plant manager asked where I see myself in 5 years, I said something about pursuing a masters degree, and she said “if you expect me to pay you more because you have your masters, you’re wrong”. Everyone else was really nice
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Materion (Milwaukee, WI) in Jan 2023
Interview
The HR departement was very responsive to my application sent just one day prior. It starts with a email for a phone screener call. Then I talked with plant manager. Did not proceed father.
