Interview
Provided resume directly to staff. Waited a long time for a reply, maybe a month. Two weeks to schedule the phone interview, then another month until they were able to provide an onsite interview. Phone interview was straightforward behavioral questions with two technical staff. In-person was a full day of behavioral and technical questions, combination of onsite and remote interviewers, with a nice lunch nearby with other current analysts. All staff were pleasant to speak with and passionate about the work.
Unfortunately, the offer was borderline insulting low, and the firm was not interested in changing that even when provided with in-hand offers from direct competitors that compensated much better. Frustrating waste of time for all involved, as the firm apparently forgot about or ignored the requested salary range provided from the outset.

The interview process starts with the typical screening interview. Once you've been filtered, you make to a 4-hour panel interview with personnel at different stages within the organization. It is a behavioral interview with some case discussion. The team is very approachable so it feels like a conversation. If you are a desirable candidate, that would be the last step. The organization will then proceed to contact references.
