I interviewed with Matterport for a Senior Recruiting Coordinator role. The call went well, and I was told to send over my availability so the recruiter could set up some time with the team because she wanted me to meet with them. Great! I submitted my availability shortly after our call and I did not hear back. The interview was on a Tuesday, and I didn't hear by that Friday, so I sent a follow up. I tried again the next Tuesday and decided to give them to that Friday for a response. Never heard from them, so I emailed them to withdraw my application from consideration. It's not worth my time to pursue a company that doesn't have its act together when it comes to recruiting.
I get they're growing, and I understand candidates falling through the cracks, but this is ridiculous and a poor candidate experience. It looks like the Glassdoor reviews saying they ghost candidates are correct. They definitely appear disorganized and need to get their stuff together!
