One of the most unprofessional experiences I have had. After being hounded by the internal recruiter who use an automated system to bombard candidates with interests, I spoke with him and was given a take home assignment to build a microservice to model an appointment creation system with some constraints.
It took me a few hours on the weekend to create the solution with tests and a Readme. Recruiter ghosted and refuses to provide any feedback for the time and effort I have put in.
I consider this highly disrespectful considering the fact that this is time I could have spent with my family. Failing is OK, but it's important to give feedback to the candidate so they can learn and better themselves.
At the end of the day it shows total lack of professional ethics and etiquette and luckily for me it seems like I might have dodged a bullet reading the other reviews.
