First, I had a screening interview with a recruiter which went well. Then, I moved to the next round with the hiring manager. The hiring manager implied that I was moving to the final rounds of interviews. At the end of the interview, they provided an overview of what to expect in the last interview. I was told I will receive an email in the next business day. As usual, I did not receive an email. After a couple of days, I finally reach out to the recruiter about my application status. I was informed that I was not moving forward due to the position being closed. I feel like I have been misled and lied to, which is unfortunate because I was interested in this opportunity.
