      Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Maven Clinic (New York, NY) in May 2023

      Interview

The interview process was incredibly slow and unprofessional. I received insufficient information from HR at every step of the way. Even after six weeks of interviewing, HR didn't seem to know if I'd have more interviews. I interviewed with HR, followed two weeks later with the hiring leader and their 1-up leader. Two weeks leader, I was asked to complete a 90 minute take home assignment. Two weeks later, I was asked to have three 30 minute interviews with peers. One week later, they sent an email that they were no longer hiring for this position anymore because they felt they needed to recalibrate the job responsibilities. It is incredibly disrespectful to ask an applicant for 7.5 hours of their time for an individual contributor position and recalibration of a role should be caught after an interview with a hiring leader- not after a take home assignment, six weeks and multiple peer interviews.
