I applied online. I interviewed at McDonald's (Port Glasgow, Scotland) in Jul 2023
Interview
Quick to the point. Almost hired me on the spot because it’s such a poor workplace, they’re desperate for workers. Barely asked me any questions. Just my understanding of food safety (almost entirely irrelevant for a kitchen like that) and why I wanted the job.

Question 1
“what is your current level of experience for food hygiene and safety?”
Fine interview, asked lots of questions about the role, previous experience and how can bring this into current role. Lots of questions around STAR method. Relaxed vibe and interviewers friendly
Video interview with manager who was fairly friendly. Interview was fairly basic customer service questions such as what is an example of good teamwork and why macdonalds. I didn't get an offer as I couldn't work the timings of the shifts that they offered
It wasn’t that good they were rude and not that supportive i would reccomenf applying somewhere else because the london branch is very stressful and they require a lot of experience
