I had an informational phone interview in early September that seemed to go well - during COVID when everything is more difficult, it would be nice if HR could take just a few minutes to send rejection emails so candidates know when they are no longer being considered instead of being told "we will be in touch" and then over a month goes by and all contact to ascertain one's candidacy is ignored. Especially when the most important characteristic noted for the position is "enthusiasm to learn" more so than actual experience.
