Quite technical. Small departments and so they want you to know your stuff
The interview process was standard, as far as big law interviews go. There was an initial call with the hiring partner and then three rounds of 30 minute interviews with various members of the relevant practice group (partners and associates).

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at McGuireWoods (Baltimore, MD)
Interview
Very nice process. Everyone I met seemed professional and I really liked the firm. It's the follow-up with which I take issue. It took them nearly 6 weeks to contact me after my application was submitted and then I waited another 3 weeks after the interview with absolutely no update. I was turned off by what felt like a ghosting, so I ended up pulling my application.
If they didn't want me they should have let me know sooner. If they really we're still considering my application, they should have reached out to keep me updated on the process. Either way - it's bad form and it soured me on working there.
