Was initially contacted by recruiter via email. The email said I appeared to be a good match for a reliability engineer position they had available. I emailed back that it did look interesting and filled out the online application, one of the newer short form online applications, took about 10 minutes total. Got a confirmation email back promptly. Follow up phone call from recruiter late the next week. Initial conversation typical phone screen, general discussion about company and details of the job. The recruiter mentioned there would be 2 hours of third part administered/proctored assessments. I agreed and gave it a weekend of thought. I emailed early in the week that I’d like to arrange a brief conversation with hiring manager before taking 2 hours of tests. Got a response the next day that the company was proceeding with other candidates.
