I applied online. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (Paris) in Jul 2025
Interview
It took time between the moment I sent my CV and the moment I got the first interview. Then it was fast: I got a first interview and 2 weeks after, I got a full day with 3 interviews. At the end of the day I got the offer.
Each interview has the same format: ~30 min PEI and ~30min case study.
The interviews are quite fun to be honest, the interviewer is not here to trick you. He/She is here to help you construct your own solution of a problem. It is okay to make mistakes as long as you can bounce back.
Overall, the goal of the interview is to discover your way of thinking, your "unique" perspective (I'm not so sure I'm very unique tbh), your likeliness to fit with the company culture and also how you may interact with a futur team.
Go for it!

Question 1
Can you speak about a time where you had to work with a group of people from different background than yours
Passed the online test and then had a round 1 interview. I got a rejection call shortly after. Interviews were a mix of behavioral and technical. Difficulty depends on difficulty of case.
I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (New York, NY)
Interview
Positive experience until the super day. The scheduling was quite long and they gave me a month's gap between my previous round and my final round. But overall everyone speaks eloquently and thinks logically. My interactions with senior partners are also very positive; they ask insightful, probing questions and were encouraging throughout the interview. I thought I smashed it, but one of the partners called me the other day and rejected me.
First you get an HR Round, then 2 back to back interviews then 3 interviews. The overall process took around 2-3 weeks, it was not very difficult very fast turnaround
