I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (Lisbon, Lisbon District) in Sep 2025
Interview
I had first round interview with a recruiter and then a second step which was a panel interview with a senior consultant and hiring manager. The screening call was chill, the recruiter was very nice and sympathetic, making me feel confortable, she passed me for the second round during the call, The panel interview however was much more difficult, where I had to analyze data and they gave me a case, then simulate a 5-minute pitch to a CEO providing hypotheses and next steps. After that, I heard nothing. I ended up not getting the offer, and they only provided feedback after I decided to reach out. Despite the delay in communication at the end, the overall candidate experience was positive, especially because, after all, they could provide effective feedback on which skills I could work on for the next ones.

3 step process. first was a screening then followed with around 7 case studies. the case studies ranged in varying industries and scope. this was done over a course of 2 months
Too long, too many rounds, too many people interviewing you and you need to follow up several times in order to get a response. They give you the materials to prepare which is good, but everything else is suboptimal
