I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company
Interview
I applied through a recruiter I met who forwarded my resume to another recruiter who had a better fit for my profile.
They then asked me to fill in a profile form asking for more information. Mainly about achievements and some personal experience.
I was invited to take the PST. I passed the PST and was invited to round 1 interviews. I was a bit irritated by the recruiter as I had to constantly prompt her for information. "Did you receive the profile asking for additional information (after 3 weeks elapsed)". "Did I pass the PST exam (after almost 2 weeks)". "Have you scheduled the 1st round (2 weeks after being informed I've passed the PST". Needles to say I was a bit irritated by the communication especially because I was interviewing for other positions.
The PST was not difficult just needed more time. I left the lengthy calculations to the end and ended up guessing about 3 of them as time had run out.
Just has my first round interview and I'm waiting for feedback. The interview was ok. I studied but everything I read about structure flew out the window once I was sitted there. I was given some direction to solve the math problems. One interview was pretty awesome and the other difficult to read. He interrupted me a lot.
Waiting to hear if I got past the first round. There is one more round to go.

Website, online, teams meeting, in person meet up.
It was pretty straightforward and they knew what they were looking for. They had to do a couple of interviews to get a better understanding of my skills.

they let you prep for cases and do what the book says. this is only a question of how hard you prepared. then they take the people one by one and repeat again and again. sometimes the people who give you interviews have been there for less time than 1 yr
