I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (Chennai) in Mar 2015
Interview
10 rounds - 2 Telephonic and 8 Rounds - Face to Face in their Chennai office. It was a delightful experience.
All rounds were to gauge different aspects of an individual and I really loved the professional way in which the entire process was conducted.
Initially one telephonic round - to understand your current work profile and to give a brief on the applied role and second telephonic round was a HR round

Question 1
Imagine if a foreign bank has hired you and wants you to setup its entire operations in India in next 6 months, what all activities need to be done and how will you model it entirely from end - end. What all will be taken as inputs in the built model. He gave me 10 mins to structure my thoughts.
I applied online. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (New York, NY)
Interview
The interview schedule is very tight, consisting primarily of case interviews. Interviewers will ask about your background and experience as detailed in your resume and present case questions. The final round may require an in-person interview.

Question 1
How you explain technical concept to people from non-tech background?
Straightforward, well structured & well explained. Long duration, with 5 30-ish minute interviews total spread out over the course of a couple of weeks. Great support, information on requirements/evaluations readily available.
Too long - too many rounds. Had to play a game first, then multiple rounds. No follow ups after I was rejected - I got ghosted.
Did not enjoy it - obviously this was a long while back and I was too young to notice but not a good behaviour. Truly no respect.
