Interview
They make the interview process unique by having these interview pillars you need to prepare a personal story for. However, I prepared stories and within one pillar all three of my stories the interviewer didn't like so I told another story I hadn't prepared and was not so present in my mind. I got rejected after that round I had the feeling I haven't even shown them 10% of my capabilities. The story telling is like sales and I know from people who have lied or made up stories they know McKinsey would like and they got in. So I'm not sure if this process is the right way to hire people but I have worked in Consulting a long time and to be honest at the end people who are good in telling stories that sound nice are actually a quite good fit for Consulting. So maybe the process is the right way but you will also end up having a lot of homogenous people I guess.
