Interview
Initial screening call with hiring manager. Then, sent 7 tests, which took a few hours. I've never seen anything like it before. Some weren't even related to the job I applied to - there was a manager position, sales position test while the position didn't involve those activities. There's also a proctored IQ test. Next, the hiring manager set up a more in-depth interview. After that, on-site interview. At this time the previous interviews had been very vague about the "hybrid work flexibility" written in the job description so I clarified when interviewing on-site. Interviewer said he didn't know anything about that, and that everybody is expected to be in the office 5 days a week. I found that odd. I received an email next week with "next steps": send release forms for background check, references, screenshot of my credit score, and student transcripts. Again, I've never seen a company request so much information. I replied to the email with some questions about the next steps but was ignored. Few days later I called, nobody answered. After days of being ignored I emailed the hiring manager about the status of my application but didn't receive any response. I followed up a few days after just to make sure and didn't receive responses from anyone, so I assumed I was ghosted by now. Later I received a generic email about moving forward with another candidate. I wasn't surprised. Too much time wasted and red flags raised. If you want to save time steer clear.

Interview
Lots of interviews and quizzes. In the end, I thought it was worth it because I knew more people coming in. I can see why many people think it is too much, especially if you do not end up here.
