MedAvail Technologies Senior Software Developer interview questions

Started with a list of questions for pre-screen by email. Then was called for interview a week later. Nice conversation, no tough questions. Until I was asked if I knew something I clearly said "no" during pre-screen, then conversation suddenly stopped and the feedback was I didn't have that particular experience. The agency was upset as we told them clearly I did not have that skill?
