Right off the bat, the interview started weird with the manager mispronouncing my name on purpose to decide my cultural background (to see if it was the same as his). I told him the correct way to pronounce it, and that I went by a more Anglicized name for ease for everyone. The questions were strange, telling me that the job would be last shift, asking me if I was okay working contract (I was told in the beginning the job was FTE) and asking me why my friend who worked for the company had not referred me before which my response was that I was not looking to make a move previously. He also assumed that I made a lot of money at my current position in CA which is not correct. I did not get the position even though I had experience working at two reputable PBM's. Instead they offered the job to someone with no PBM experience and offered them a FTE position. I believe I was well qualified but, that the hiring managers were disinterested as I have PIC experience and they did tell my friend that they thought I would leave due to experience which is not correct. I lost over $1,500 getting a license for another state as my friend had told me that if I had the license, I would for sure get the position. After reading the company ratings and how low they are, I'm glad I did not get the position. They also have mass layoffs as noted on GlassDoor.
