One of the assistant reached out to me about the System Administrator role and if I was interested. I'm not sure how they found me but I agreed to an interview. The interview was on GoTo with a supervisor and director. The interview started off with basically introducing myself and what I'm looking for then they introduce themselves as well. Once we got that settle, they started asking me key things on my resume that I listed. There was not much technical questions but questions about how you would deal with stress, coworker disagreement, micro managing boss, handling tickets and etc. The interview went for almost 2 hours when it was suppose to be 45 minutes and the feedback I got was very good but what I told them I wanted to do wasn't in their current goals right now. They said the second interview might be onsite to meet team. They also said that their technology is pretty old but it's working for them which is why they are still using it. So they want someone to come in to support it and also take over some lead projects that are not being touch by anyone. I got an offer 3 days later after only 1 interview but I declined because I wanted a role that include using technology that I got my certifications in.
