I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meditech (Framingham, MA) in Mar 2018
Interview
It started with a quick behavioral interview, with a few simple questions about some of the applications I've built and the technologies I've used. No real curveball questions or anything difficult.
The real challenge was the assessment after the interview. I believe it was 25 questions. They say it takes most people around an hour and a half to two hours to complete, but took me closer to three hours. There is no time limit, but they do consider how long it took for your to finish in their decision. MEDITECH uses their own family of languages, and the assessment consists of tutorials on various features of one of their languages (MagicFS). It has problems for you to solve after each tutorial. My best advise is not to overthink the first several questions. After the first 15 questions, it starts to get harder, and you'll spend about half of your time on the last question.
Basic behavioral questions followed by an coding challenge in their own language. It progressively got more difficult with you learning their language as you progress but overall wasn't too difficult.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meditech (Foxborough, MA) in Jun 2025
Interview
The interview process is rather standard. They will reach out to you to do a typical phone screening; questions such as "where do yourself in x amount of years?", "What do you know about the company?", "Why did you choose Meditech". From there, I was given a 25 question survey, about the programming language they use. Each question gets harder, ending with a Fibonacci Sequence and a Search Algorithm at the end.
