The interviewer asked questions pertaining to my experience and my comfort level handling tasks. I was asked about how I would handle certain situations and that is when we started talking about career paths and how the business handled promotions from within. The interviewer then told me that there was a 2 year commitment and that there were no promotions available until I met that criteria. There were also no increases during this time. As a company i do know that they treat their employees very well, however locking yourself in to starting from the bottom for 2 years was a bit much to ask of someone, especially by not giving this information during the phone interview.
