I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meganexus (London, England) in Apr 2016
Interview
First phone chat with the CEO which went for about half hour. Then I was called in for a face to face and there was a skills review which was relevant to my area. It was fairly smooth and not too confronting.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meganexus (London, England) in May 2019
Interview
So this has to be up there with the worst interview I have ever attended.
It started well with the poor product owner. However, once the Architect came on it went downhill from there. I am not particularly bothered about appearances as in the IT sphere, it is usually about what you can deliver. However, this chap was unshaven, smelt terrible and quite frankly seemed like he had stepped out of his bedroom with whatever was available.
His questioning was aggressive, dehumanising and downright rude. I endured the interview in the hope I might get this on a professional track. The product owner and business analyst just seemed to be spectators during the ordeal.
To cap it off, they invited the dreadful business development manager for another round of interviews which finally convinced me I was certainly in an unwelcoming organisation where the well being of people who work for them are low down the priority order.
I have done this review as a public service. If you love your mental health, please avoid!
