They contacted me after reviewing my quick LinkedIn application to set up a short phone screening. During the phone screening they told me more about the position and asked me a few questions to see if I was a good fit for the role. She decided I was and sent me on to the next phase of the process which is a 3 part personality test. The first part gives you four adjectives and you rank yourself (some of them are characteristics of a good person, others are what I would describe as characteristics of a not so nice person), the second part was choosing which headlines you would read more about, and the third part gave a huge list of scenarios ranging from falling in love to genocide and asked you to rank them from best to worst. I completed this test honestly and got a phone call that I had "failed" it according to their data. But she told me not to worry, that many people fail it on their first try and take it again in six months and pass it. 1) No thank you I'll find something better. 2) Letting people retake a personality test that they have previously "failed" seems a little bit sketchy to me. If you do want this job, however, I urge you to answer the personality test as a more ruthless and aggressive person. I think perhaps the negative adjectives they chose to present in the test were meant to be positive qualities of a sales person. However, they're execution is definitely a bit off.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MemoryBlue (Austin, TX) in Oct 2021
Interview
The interview process with memoryBlue was straightforward, organized, and for a lack of a better word attentive.
The interview process (for me) was 4 interviews:
1. Initial contact with memoryBlue recruiter, (basic questions and feeling out candidate)
2. Interview with memoryBlue staff manager
3. Interview with managing director
4. Interview with managing director (in person) for a sales call and call analysis overview, function & compensation overview.
Overall I felt like the whole process was attentive, I felt valued as a candidate, communicated with regularly. You could even say it was a model-like process of how it should be,
