I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Mercer (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2016
Interview
I was recommended by an employee for the job and went through a 30 minute phone interview with an HR lady. A month later (after being told I would hear back in 2 weeks), I was contacted about my interest in the job and was scheduled 9 phone interviews. 2 on one day, 7 on the other. I was told I would hear back the next week and then I had 3 more interviews scheduled. Told I would hear back in a week. Ended up being 2 weeks later after sending 3 follow up emails. Very inefficient process.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Mercer in Aug 2021
Interview
I did one phone screening with HR. I did a phone call with a Sourcer. I did a video interview with a manager. I did four more separate interviews with the team, some with two people and some with one person. I waited two weeks for a response and heard nothing. The sourcer got back to me and wanted to me to meet with another THREE people. I declined as they obviously did not respect the applicants time in having me wait weeks for a response and spend significant time interviewing with multiple people. This would be meeting a total of 10 people over a two month period for an entry level role. Very bad interview process and experience!
