Interview
After posting online & speaking to HR recruiter, was invited to interview w/ 2 Principals. I have lots experience in health insurance underwriting, but no specific consulting experience, all disclosed online & on resume.
Once there, I was told the session was a "meet & greet" session so they could get an idea of talent in the market & that they did not even have an open requisition to fill at the time.
Rather disappointing to hear, especially after they spent 10 minutes telling me my experience is not usually a good fit for the level of position for which I was interviewing.
Almost left after the first person, but stayed the duration, but was a real waste of time. I don't expect an offer & disappointed they would willingly waste my time & theirs when they knew my resume info beforehand.
15min hirevue with pretty base level questions, know why you want to work at Mercer. After that, 1.5 hr interview with four consultants (2 per 45 min). Lots of questions based on your past experiences, why Mercer, etc.

Interviewed with the Houston office. First round hirevue, then advanced to the superday. 6 back to back interviews. Overall it was pretty behavioral. There were some Google questions that kind of threw me off
