I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Mercer (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2011
Interview
Initial communications came from the office leader. He requested I fill out the online resume for a specific posted position. I then spoke with a Mercer recruiter. She set up a phone interview with the main person in the office in charge of vetting interview candidates. After that I was invited for an office visit. I interviewed with two Associates and a Principal, and then met the Senior Associate who preformed my phone interview. It took a great deal of time to hear back on whether or not I had gotten the position. I was finally called by the recruiter to complete paperwork and preform my background check. The whole process took approximately 4-6 months until my start date.

Question 1
The most difficult question I received was if I planned on attending Grad School. It seemed a little like a trick question... 1. Did I value continuing education or 2. Did I plan on leaving them in the future?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mercer (Irvine, CA) in Jun 2021
Interview
Very friendly Interview Process. Everyone on the team interviewed me, which will help them all to make a decision overall as a group. The Interview was a 2 hour process, but it was fun and met great people.

Interview
The interview process was the best I have ever experienced. Everyone was kind and respectful of me and the scheduling process for interviews/phone calls. Mercer is very professional and transparent in the information they give about the positions, and open to candidate questions. Through the process I was able to meet several people one-on-one, which helped me make a decision. I asked why they work at Mercer, and all were positive responses, in line with my career goals.

Question 1
Some included: Why Mercer? Tell me about yourself/experience. Do you have Excel and PPT experience?
The interview processes were good. The only thing that could have been better was that they are very slow at getting back to you. I had to follow-up twice.
