Interview
The interview process was very streamlined and execution was clockwork. Right from setting up the first call, followup on-campus interviews to acceptance was very well managed and its a great experience for anyone planning to switch jobs. By the end of the process, I felt even more willing to join this company than what I felt while applying.

Question 1
They evaluated how well I fit into the management's vision. Interviews were conducted by hiring manager, peers and others I would be working with and all of them asked questions related to Mercury's long term vision and what I've done in the past as it relates to that road-map.

Interview
The interview process was very straightforward and moved along quickly. I had a 30-40 min phone screen with the leader coordinating the hire process. I was invited to come on campus and participate in four back to back interviews with various team members.
All conversations went very well and I was feeling pretty confident about the entire process. So much so that I felt the need to inform a competitor that I was in the final round of interviews with Mercury.
After not hearing from the recruiter I reached out after a week and was told to essentially wait an additional 8-10 business days as other interviews progressed. On day 10 I was informed that the roles was being changed to focus on something very different from the original posting.
Not upset, I understand these things happen but based on my conversations with the team members it definitely sounds like leaders are not listening to the needs of the team. Was a great learning experience for me overall on the dynamics of who is influencing the decision making.
