I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meridian Cooperative (Atlanta, GA) in Jun 2025
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter for a phone screen. I had a phone screen with the recruiter followed by an interview with the hiring manager. Next, I interviewed and conducted a presentation to a panel consisting of the Hiring manager, Director and 2 team members. In total, 3 Interviews and 1 Training Presentation with 5 individuals over 2 weeks. I was told during the FINAL interview (by a team member) that they reviewed my resume, and I was over-qualified. They stated that they had a discussion with the hiring manager prior to the final interview regarding the concern. The team members were un-welcoming, frowning and visibly upset during the Teams interview. I was asked questions that were possible illegal EEOC violations - discriminatory. In addition, when I asked the following question, I was met with aggression and disrespect. I asked, "What are some of the challenges faced in the position?" Response by a team member: HIRING THE WRONG PEOPLE.
