      Flight Attendant Interview

      Nov 3, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Phoenix, AZ
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mesa Air (Phoenix, AZ) in Oct 2015

      Interview

I applied early September and immediately was asked to do a One-Way video questionnaire, which wasn't difficult at all. It then took about three weeks until I got the email inviting me to the pre-interview process, I confirmed my seat and then went to the session a week later. I went to the pre-interview on October 28th. There was a large group of people but everyone was friendly and seemed excited. Then we were taken to a back classroom where we met our recruiters. They introduced themselves and let us know what was going to be happening today, along with letting us know not everyone would receive a f2f interview that day.. *BUT they said that doesn't necessarily mean that you're out of the running. So we all partnered up with the person sitting next to us and did an ice breaker. Questions like: Where are you from, what's something unique about yourself, what would be the hardest thing about being a flight attendant, etc. We then introduced our partner to the class - which did take awhile because there were a lot of people... Then after that was over we took a quick break and then when we came back we were told to take notes because they were giving us a brief overview of the company, what to expect, rules, etc. After that was over we took about a 30 minute break while they compiled a short list of those who were chosen for the f2f interview. I wasn't chosen for the f2f interview, though I was extremely confident in my introduction, resume, etc... They said it could take anywhere from 6-8 weeks, shorter or longer to hear an answer, and you will get an answer via email regardless of a yes or no.

      Interview

Super easy! Did a video interview that was about 4 questions, mostly about you and customer service questions. Had an online interview with recruiters and waited about a week for a phone call.

      Interview

Online process where you record videos of yourself answering questions and you have unlimited time to think of an answer and unlimited takes. But you do only have one minute to answer. Questions are pretty easy if you put some thought into them. About a month later I was invited to a group interview session via zoom as well as a one-on-one interview.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell us a little bit about yourself, who is your role model other than a parent, talk about a time with a difficult situation with a coworker, what does hospitality mean to you.

Very easy process. Honestly, it was such a pleasant Interview process. Fairly quick to move forward or to know you were not accepted. The recruiters were open minded and enjoyable to talk to. None of them were so intimidating that you felt unworthy.
