I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Meta Company (San Antonio, TX) in Jan 2022
Interview
The interview process was long and drawn out. I had one screening with the recruiter, and interviewed with 6 other people afterwards, it was overkill in my opinion. The interviews are long in duration as well, although you do have the option to break up the interview sessions over multiple days. For the most part the interviews went well until the last one. The person was a Director on one of their Privacy teams, and the person seemed arrogant and it was obvious that she was not paying attention to my responses to the questions asked. This is because on multiple times during the conversation, she would ask me follow-up questions, but if she was engaged in the conversation she would have heard me answer her follow-up question in my initial responses. She also acted like I did not answer her question, in reality the question was answered. It became frustrating because it was obvious that her attention was not there, and it was wasting my time as a candidate.
The position was for a Privacy Compliance manager, but their focus was not on Privacy experience which was odd.
