I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta
Interview
A recruiter reached out because I attended a hackathon. After a few emails asking for more information, we scheduled a coderpad interview. The interviewer was 15 mins late and had a thick Asian accent. This was my first interview, so I didn't really explain my code to the interviewer at all which might be why I didn't receive a call back.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Was asked simple questions like reversing an array in place and given two sorted arrays, merge them in the first array so that they are sorted.
6 LC questions, 4 hards and 2 mediums, 45 minute time limit for every 2 questions, three rounds in total, pretty easy study tagged q's and you will be okay
Resume, then got to the interview where I had to do coding. Found it hard, was not super prepared. Wish prepared more. The talking interview was smooth, they asked why that company, etc. Ordinary procedural stuff.
This was a pretty standard leetcode interview. There were 2 rounds plus a screen and they got back to me pretty quickly overall. Overall had a good experience, would do it again.
