Interview
The interview is basically designed to see if you can the same kind of clever as your interviewer. The questions are completely academic in nature and do not reflect real-world software development in practice. They use a code share tool live that doesn't allow you to execute or debug the software, despite the tools they refer you to in order to prepare have them. At the end my interviewer of 7 years with the company gave me a perfect quote, he said when he was interviewing he had to run through over 200 practice examples before he interviewed. This alone demonstrates how Facebook's interview process is not designed to test practical scenarios or a developer's innate abilities.

Question 1
I had to solve a problem in an exact specific way and was forced to use recursion, despite memory use being a stated concern, which should rarely be used in reality due to risk of stack overflows, higher risk of bugs, and likelihood of lower performance due to increased cache misses.
The process is straightforward and designed to help us get to know each other. It moves through a few stages at a comfortable pace, involves conversations with several team members, and focuses on making sure it's a good mutual fit.

Interview
Had an initial recuriter call and then scheduled a coding round with 2 leetcode questions. Practicing Meta-tagged leetcode questions would help prepare for this round. Interviewers expect clear communication and code.
Generic LeetCode-style questions, many tagged as Meta, so extensive preparation is required to perform well in the technical interview. The experience varies significantly - some interviewers provide hints and guidance, while others expect candidates to solve problems independently with minimal assistance.
