I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta in Apr 2025
Interview
I recently interviewed at Meta for their Product TPM role and had a phone screen with one of their TPMs. The interviewer joined the Zoom call five minutes late without any acknowledgment or introduction, and immediately jumped into questions with her video off, which made the interaction feel cold and impersonal. She did not clarify the questions she was asking, nor did she acknowledge my responses in any way—it didn’t feel like a conversation at all. Her tone came across as dismissive, and I felt like my input was being brushed aside. When I asked thoughtful questions about the role and team, I received vague and deflective answers that offered no real insight. I left the interview feeling highly disrespected. After nearly a decade in the industry, this was by far the worst interview experience I’ve had.
