I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Meta in Feb 2016
Interview
The interviewer introduced himself, and talked a bit about his work. Then ask me about my research, and he was specifically interested in my image quality project. Then we started the coding question. The interviewer guided me towards the direction he wanted to go. Then in the end he gave 2 minutes for me to ask questions, I asked more about his research as it is related to mine.

Question 1
Given two BST, return true if they have same variable, flase if not.
The technical round hit me with a classic array manipulation problem: moving zeroes to the end without disrupting the order of non-zero elements. As I tackled it, I felt a wave of familiarity wash over me; I had just practiced a similar challenge on PracHub. The rest of the interview followed a straightforward path, with some easy behavioral questions sprinkled in. Overall, it felt very easy, but I wasn’t quite the right fit for what they needed, so I didn’t receive an offer.
