The interview process consisted of 1 initial screening round followed by 5 onsite rounds: two coding interviews, two system/product design interviews, and one behavioral interview. All of the interviewers were very friendly and made the experience positive overall.
Each coding round included two questions. I’d recommend reviewing LeetCode problems tagged with Meta, as they closely reflect the interview style. The system design rounds focused on designing a sports tracking app and an online auction platform, similar to Instagram's bidding flow. Didn’t go deep enough. The behavioral round was fairly standard—covering topics like ownership, ambiguity, conflict resolution, and mentorship.

Recruiter reached out to me and laid out the following steps:
1) Take home online code assessment - File system progression type
2) Take home behavioral assessment
3) Technical screening round
4) Full round interview
Did not do strongly on technical screening. No explanation.
I had first round of coding and it went for 1 hour. I have been asked about my experience, my past projects and how I have executed them as a lead. I have also, been asked two coding questions out of which one was medium difficulty and the other is not completed in time.
With a couple of hints, I could complete the first one but couldn't get pass through the second one.
