I was initially contacted by a talent acquisition consultant and had my first interview over the phone. It was a pleasant experience; he seemed genuinely enthusiastic about bringing me on board, providing detailed insights about the role and strongly emphasising the salary package and work benefits. A week later, I had a second interview with the hiring manager, which also went smoothly. Shortly after, I received and accepted the offer. However, it has now been three weeks since my acceptance, and despite multiple follow-ups, I have not received any response. Unfortunately, this has left me feeling ghosted, something I’ve never experienced after formally accepting a role. It feels incredibly unprofessional and disappointing, especially since I was genuinely excited about the opportunity.
