I was contacted by an agency about the graduate scheme at Metaswitch and after reviewing the details I decided that I would like to be considered for the job. I was then sent a test to complete online. I was given 20 minutes and there were many questions, however the recruitment agent advised me that there was no negative marking which was useful information. After passing the test I was invited to an interview at the Edinburgh offices. I was required to complete the online application form prior to my interview. The interview consisted of 4 tests, the first of which was very similar to the online test. The second was a written problem, in the third I was required to follow a piece of code written on paper and in the final test I had to write a piece of code for a card game. The interview came after the tests and was half competency based, the other half was a discussion on my answers to the test.
