I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Metra
Interview
I'm not sure there was even a process. If it weren't for the temp worker they had helping them out, I would have never known anything about the process or status. The Metra employees were distant, cold, uncaring, and, most of all, never returned a single message. They were also indifferent about answering my questions during the last interview. It took seven weeks to hear from the first interview to the second. It then took 2.5 weeks after that point to schedule the second interview. The final interview I had was a 30-minute session with three people on it. For some reason, two people never talked and got annoyed if you asked them a question directly. The person "running" the interview read questions off of a form. The questions were cutting edge for recruiting about 15 years ago, and most had nothing to do with the job they were recruiting for.
Honestly, it's one of the worst interview workflows I've ever had a chance to witness.
A phone interview, a zoom meeting with the manager, and in person interview . There may be a one on one with the chief Human Resources officer. The in person interview was a panel interview with 4 stakeholders for that position
