Because it's the government, expect to a lot of waiting throughout the process. Applied early/mid-summer and received a call out of the blue early September inviting me to interview. Interview was in-person at their main office downtown. Panel interview comprising of the hiring manager, the hiring manager's boss, a prospective coworker, and a rep from HR. Interview was mainly STAR based questions with a couple of competency questions for 45 minutes with the last 15 minutes for candidate questions.
