Michael Baker International interview questions

I got recommended by a person who is at the company who carried my resume in. A few days later I got a call for an interview and the lady made it seem like I had a good chance at the position. During my interview she asked if I was available to start on a certain day which I said yes. That certain day was the following Monday. I called on Friday to see if they had made a decision and the lady claimed that they wouldn't make a decision until the following Monday yet she made it seem like she wanted me to start on Monday during the interview. During the phone call she was very short with me like she didn't want to be bothered. The lady who interviewed me didn't even have the respect to call me saying I didn't get the position.

I reached out through a recruiter, who responded after a couple weeks saying managers wanted to meet me. I went in for about an hour and it was a fairly easy chat where I talked about what I was studying and what I wanted to do. Not very scrupulous, and while I think I was a great candidate, there are other people who made it through that I'm not so sure about, so maybe they should be a bit more rigid.
