This was the worst interview process I’ve ever experienced. I went through 4 rounds of interviews, all of which went very well. The recruiter asked for my references, which I provided. She called all 3 references and told one of them that she hoped I accepted her offer the next day. The next day, she told me there was a delay in my offer. She then proceeded to call me and email me twice a week for the next 6 weeks to let me know I was still going to get an offer. After 6 weeks, she told me there was no longer money in the budget for this role.
