I applied for the post based on a Facebook ad. I saw the ad just oen day prior to the deadline and interview day. I contacted the mentioned responsible person and assured that I would be present for the interview. The next day I reached their office and there were 8 other applicants. We were given a detailed introduction of Michael Page initially by one of their managers. Post this, we started with a Group Discussion. The topic startled us all. The MD and another Senior Manager were the judges. We were asked to come to a common conclusion as a group and inform the judges who, from the 9 of us, should be selected. The decision and discussion was supposed to be based on pure logic. We were given 2 mins of time prior to starting to ask any questions. This was ( as informed to us later ) an opportunity for us to ask the judges exactly the kind of people they wanted. The GD did go quite randomly of course but interesting nonetheless. Afte the GD, 4 of us were selected for final interview round with the same judges. I had a decent time at the interview. They did not grill me but rather made me tweak my answers and approach to what a consultant's should be. The interview was less of a test and more of a training itself. The MD did help me be better than what I was.
