I applied for the role on iimjobs, the very next day I got a call from the Senior Consultant recruiter who very briefly asked me about myself. He then scheduled an interview 3 days later at Michael Page in Mumbai. On that day he interviewed me for 45 mins, kept on cross questioning me and my answer, also the entire time he kept on smiling then smirking. He also kept on bringing up his own college then started comparing college placement packages. He also at one point kept on talking badly about his previous company and his boss, that came across as very unprofessional to me. Later on another lady came to interview me for 10 mins by asking about family background etc, very basic. 2 weeks later(after my 2nd follow up email) I got a reply saying I was rejected. It was very unexpected.

Why were your marks low in 10th and high in 12?
Why did you take up computer science in your undergrad and then mba?
Why did you pick your college? Why not the other top 3 colleges? (I’m from a tier 1 b-school)
Another question was sector specific, I picked Insurance sector, he started grilling me on that.
Overall good experience. Got to meet nice and professional people during interview process. It started with a zoom call, meeting different members of the team and the last stage in person at the head office.

Interview
I had a final round interview with a man named Sean Puddle. He told me I wasn't a good fit because I was from Long Island and likely had family money, so I wouldn't be hungry enough for this sales role.
Sean is now at Robert Walters, and I'm sure he's been the same jerk there.
