I was interviewed for 4 rounds for a Recruitment Consultant role in India.
Though I came with experience outside India, they still made me go through all rounds including a case study which they conduct for college grads .
I found the CEO to be very unimpressive and lacking in gravity that a senior management person should possess .
The Hiring Manager was a lady , again quite immature . She was promoted through the ranks quite quickly , but in terms of personality and general demeanour , I got a feeling early on that she wouldn't be a great manager to work with .
After 5 rounds , case study , and discussions reaching the stage where my joining date was even discussed , noone from the company had the basic courtesy to get back to me . Even for a rejection , if you've wasted someone's time having them speak to 5 different people, you should have basic manners to even let the person know that you are not proceeding to the offer stage for them for whatever reasons.
There was radio silence , not one email nor phone call.
They claim to be a global organisation , but there conduct is nothing of the sort . Especially in recruitment , it's all about relationship building which they don't understand now and terribly failed at .
After this, I am sure I wouldn't ever want to work with them .
I also heard from a friend that they called them to their offc for a 1 hour interview , took their current HR's contact detail and the very next day landed at the company's doorstep for a BD pitch ! Even later , they never reached out to them for any other job openings or maintained any contact at all.
Aggression is definitely required in a Sales job , but MP India's attitude is more like to get what they want , exploiting you and your resources, wasting your time ,and just vanishing that . I am sure this will come back to bite them later since they are new in the Recruitment Industry and don't know anything about relationship -building and maintaining a good brand name and reputation in the market .
I would especially advise all gullible fresher candidates to stay away from them , if you want to build a career in Recruitment .
